A warm welcome awaits you upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport by our Representative after clearing with immigrations formalities who will pick you for a short safari briefing. You are then transferred to your City Hotel where you will be booked on Bed & Breakfast. Depending on your flight timing you can sample Nairobi excursions and activities which include orientation city tour of Nairobi, visit to the Giraffe Centre, Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, Karen Blixen Museum, and Kazuri Beads (Payable as Extras).

Meal Plan: Bed & Breakfast

Breakfast at your hotel at 7AM. Depart and drive north of Nairobi past the coffee and tea plantations of central Kenya highlands arriving at Aberdare Country club in time for lunch at The  Aberdares Country Club. After lunch, proceed for a one-hour guided walk. This takes place within the Aberdare Country Club Game Sanctuary, which has an area of over 1300 acres, full of wildlife and birds, flora and fauna. After enjoying the walk, return to Aberdares Country club where you will be transferred in a shared Vehicle to the Ark Game Lodge. The Ark Lodge overlooks a floodlit waterhole and salt lick, which attracts a host of awesome wildlife. Resembling and named after Noah’s Ark, The Ark comprises of three decks from which numerous balconies and lounges provide a superb location for wildlife to be seen. Dinner and overnight.

Breakfast at 6.30AM, followed by check out and departure for Lake Nakuru at 7.30AM. Upon arrival at Lake Nakuru National Park, immediately proceed for game drives until 12.30 when you go to the lodge to check and have lunch. After Lunch, rest until 3.30 PM when you will go for afternoon game viewing drives. Lake Nakuru is alkaline, the perfect place for flamingos to feed on the blue-green algae. About 2.72 ft. in height, with rosy plumage and dark red, black tipped beak. Lake Nakuru National Park has a great variety of bird life which includes the Egyptian goose and a variety of ducks that come from Europe to winter. This park is truly a bird watchers paradise. The game animals include hippo, waterbuck, gazelles, colobus monkeys, buffaloes, leopards, and the Rothschild giraffes. The park is also a sanctuary for the white rhino. This park has an abundance of acacia trees, both yellow barked (fever tree) the umbrella-topped acacia and the candelabra cactus. Return to the lodge at 6.00 PM. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

At 6AM enjoy a very early morning game drive before returning to the lodge for breakfast. 8AM check out of the lodge and depart for Masai Mara National Reserve.

The Masai Mara is part of the vast Serengeti ecosystem (and are just separated by the political boundary of Kenya and Tanzania). However, wildlife has no boundaries – so the animals crisscross between the Masai Mara and the Serengeti. Both Parks are characterized by vast plains and are home to the Big five – namely the Lions, Elephants, Leopards, Buffalos, and Rhinos as well the spectacular annual great wildebeest migrations. You will arrive Masai Mara on time for lunch at your Camp.

After a lovely lunch – you will rest for two hours, then at 3PM you will depart for an afternoon game drive. At 6.30PM, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

At 6AM go for an early morning game drive which is a great time to spot predators – especially lions, cheetah, and leopards, each of which prefers to hunt in the cool of dawn and dusk. Return to the lodge for Breakfast – and afterwards with a packed lunch proceed for full day of game drives in the Masai Mara. The Masai Mara is Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five (lions, leopards, buffalos, rhinos, and elephants). During the game drives, you will have a one-hour visit to a Maasai village which will offer a chance to interact with the Maasai and to get a glimpse of their unique way of life(Payable as extra) – and see firsthand some of their customs and practices. Return  to the lodge/Camp for dinner and overnight stay.

6AM go for early morning game drives and return to the lodge for breakfast at 8AM. Check out of the lodge at 8.30AM and depart Masai Mara for Nairobi. Upon arrival in Nairobi around 1.30PM, you will have a quick stop at the Carnivore restaurant for lunch. After lunch, our driver guide will drop you at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight. Thus, marking the end of your memorable safari with us……
